Yeah it does need to be a big mug, or at least tall. Mine pops over the top while it&#039;s cooking then settles back down as it cools.

I think i used plain flour actually, but SR does make more sense like you say. i&#039;ll try it again soon to verify.</description>

Make sure the mug is large enough - slight spillage is possible.

I presume the recipe uses self-raising flour (otherwise you would get a solid lump), if you don&#039;t have it, add 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder

One mug cake is ample to feed one toddler.</description>
