Regina Spektor referencing RHCP?
Now that I have my CD’s categorised by alphabetical order (another item on the list done!) I noticed an uncanny similarity in album art between these two neighbouring cds…Regina Spektor’s “Begin to hope” and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Mother’s milk”.
Ok, so it’s probably a coincidence given how dissimilar they are musically and influence-wise. But just thought I’d put it out there!

It’s a good call, the resemblence is quite similar… I gave a little search, I think we can safely say it’s a coincidence. The difference being Regina Spektor is showing the new millenium photoshop while RHCP is clearly shopped the old way, using some scissors. She’s also not naked.
I stumbled accross this site, I thought you might be interested in it. It’s a whole lot of Christian comics from the 70s and 80s I think. I’ve only read “Up From Harlem”, but it was pretty good. I think tonight I might read “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash”. Also Adventure with the Brothers are meant to be good and any comic which is about smuggling bibles, which is just about the rest of them.

Yeah i googled a bit too - couldn’t get any matches with names from the liner notes.
Nice comic site!! I feel this is an area we are lacking in in this generation. too much worrying about the quality of our music, while christian comics get neglected altogether! disgraceful!!
I’m a fan of ‘Adventure with the Brothers: Cult Escape” i love that Brothers is their surname. genius.
